Life Events - Baptisms, Blessings, Marriages, Funerals and Thanksgivings

We would love to support you at those key life events. Baptism or thanksgiving is often sought in response to new life. However we regularly baptise older children, young people and adults, as well as infants at St Mark’s as they and/or their families (in the case of young children and infants) mark the decision to walk in the way of love shown by Christ and to be welcomed into the worldwide church. If you are interested in exploring the possibility of this, please do contact us on 01892 526069 or email - office@stmarkschurch.org.uk

Our historic church building and garden are a beautiful location in which to celebrate committed relationships before God. If you would like to have a conversation about getting married at St Mark’s, about renewing your wedding vows, or about receiving prayers of thanksgiving and blessing for same sex couples, we would love to hear from you.

Please contact the church office on 01892 526069 or email - office@stmarkschurch.org.uk

We are here to support you at times of loss as well as celebration. If you would like to discuss holding a funeral or thanksgiving service for a loved one either here at St Mark’s, at a crematorium, cemetery or both, do contact the church office on 01892 526069 or email - office@stmarkschurch.org.uk

We offer pastoral care, a monthly bereavement support group and an annual service of remembering loved ones at the festival of All Souls in November.
